Wanyu Zhang is a marketing strategist with NPR’s Research, Archives & Data Strategy team (RAD). She holds an MA in Communication and Asian Studies from Georgetown University and BA in Telecommunication and Japanese from Indiana University Bloomington. At NPR, she works as multimedia producer with a focus on branding, communication and digital media within RAD and other departments. In 2015, she launched a department rebranding campaign to more appropriately describe the former NPR library’s broader and deeper core duties and functions at NPR. With her bicultural background, she actively encourages international outreach at NPR by leading professional tours,interpreting interviews, and welcoming new audiences.
